Princess Charlene shares her Afrikaans wedding song

Princess Charlene and Prince Albert of Monaco’s wedding took place on 1 and 2 July 2011 at the Prince’s Palace of Monaco.
It has been 10 years of marriage and Princess Charlene recently shared a video on Instagram saying, “My dear friend Alouise, thank you for remembering our wedding song. With all my heart Merci.”

The song that played at the royal wedding is from local band Romanz titled ‘My Hele Hart’.
Romanz was a South African pop and opera vocal quartet. They predominantly sang in Afrikaans. Even though the band had nine albums, they decided to go their separate ways in 2014.

According to reports, Princess Charlene has been in South Africa since January, while her husband Prince Albert was spotted at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Princess Charlene was part of the South African women’s 4 x 100m medley at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
