The tiara was worn by the late Princess of Wales on the day of her wedding to Prince Charles. It will be displayed for the first time in decades.
According to Vanity Fair: "The Spencer Tiara will be included in a new exhibition of royal and aristocratic jewels held at Sotheby's in London from May 28 to June 15 and open for free to the public in honour of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee next month.
"Sotheby’s is the world’s largest, most trusted and dynamic marketplace for art and luxury items."

These pieces are loaned out to Sotheby's as part of the exhibition. Princess Diana's brother, Earl Spencer, decided to loan this "important piece of Spencer family history" to Sotheby's for the exhibition.
