Journalist Carien du Plessis tweeted a selfie wearing a mask and visors while on a Qatar flight.
Du Plessis asked staff members why she must wear a mask and visor, and they said it is for their own safety.
Passengers on @qatarairways have to wear these shields. I ask a staff member what it’s for. It’s SA govt regulation to Doha. I said to him, but what’s the purpose. He says it’s for our own safety. Really. I’m double jabbed. I’m happy to take my chances with the science on this 😂 pic.twitter.com/dmjcPNiGKl
