Refentse excited to perform at the GMA Benefit Concert
The award-winning Refentse Morake is set to perform at Jacaranda FM’s GMA Benefit Concert on Saturday.
Refentse Morake is one of the most loved Afrikaans singers.
The ‘Reisiger’ hitmaker came onto the music scene in 2015. This is after a neighbour shared a video of him singing ‘De la Rey’ on social media. The video went viral, reaching 160,000 views in 24 hours.
Refentse became an instant internet sensation. He was praised for his amazing vocals and unique talent.

Top SA acts Demi Lee Moore, Prime Circle, DJ Jazzy D, Martin Bester, and Refentse will be taking to the stage, bringing you a spectacular two-and-a-half-hour show, featuring 30-minute acoustic sets of these artists’ biggest songs and a full concert setup – complete with proper sound, lighting, and effects - that you can view from the warmth and comfort of your own home!
Tickets are priced at just R70 each, with 50% of proceeds going to supporting the artists through some really tough times, and the other 50% going to Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels.
