Remaining members of One Direction pay tribute to Liam Payne
Payne passed away on Wednesday at a hotel located on Costa Rica Street in the Palermo neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Since the confirmation of famous One Direction boyband member Liam Payne's death, tributes have been pouring in from across the world.

Directioners (the name given to fans of the band) have been mourning the loss, and celebrities have also been sending condolences to his family and friends.
The official One Direction Instagram page has posted a joint statement from the rest of the members, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Naill Horan, and Louis Tomlinson:

There had been rumours since the band's breakup that there was some bad blood, but three of the four remaining members have also posted moving and loving tributes on their personal social media.
Zayn Malik posted an old photo of him with Liam and wrote that he "never got to thank" him for supporting him:

According to the Buenos Aires police, officers responded to a 911 call about a man behaving "aggressively", suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The statement did not specify that this individual was Payne.
He had been spotted in Argentina attending a concert by his former bandmate Niall Horan on October 2, with videos of the event shared on social media.
Recently, Payne celebrated his 31st birthday in the UK, as shown in posts on his Snapchat. He was born in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, and was the youngest of three siblings. He studied music technology at the City of Wolverhampton College.
Payne gained fame as a member of the popular British boy band One Direction, which also featured Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Horan. The group formed in 2010 after all members appeared on the UK version of the reality competition, 'The X Factor'.
