Martin shared a story about the hero dog, Jessie, who saved her furry friend, Chucky from drowning in a pool in Boksburg. CCTV footage is doing the rounds of a black Staffordshire terrier saving her friend, a Pomeranian, from drowning. The footage shows Chucky walking in the backyard and getting distracted. The next moment Chucky falls into the pool and is unable to make his way out of the water.
The kind-hearted Jessie then tries everything in her power to save Chucky and after 34 minutes, she succeeds. The owners told The Daily Mail, “'It was heart-wrenching to watch. We still struggle to watch that video today, just thinking of what could have happened if Jessie was not there.'
