Restaurant managers arrested for serving alcohol

Managers of two popular restaurants in Sandton and Silverton in Pretoria were arrested over the weekend for selling liquor to patrons.
The sale of liquor is prohibited from all outlets as well as for home consumption under Level 3 lockdown in South Africa.
Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo spoke to JacaNews about the two incidents, as well as liquor worth R600,000 being confiscated.
Videos were circulating on social media of police outside a restaurant in Morningside, Sandton.
