Riana Nel is considered one of strongest female voices in South Africa; she is a successful songwriter in the local music industry and a pop music star. She will take a seat in one of The Voice SA’s famous red chairs when the cameras roll for season three later this year.
"We’re blessed and excited to have Riana on our panel of coaches for season 3," says M-Net’s Head of Publicity, Lani Lombard.
"She is sweet, down-to-earth and friendly, but don’t underestimate her competitive spirit, commitment and conscientiousness. She did an excellent job as Lira’s co-coach in season 2 and is bound to give season 3’s rival coaches a run for their money."

Earlier this week, Bobby van Jaarveld announced in an Instagram post that his journey with 'The Voice SA' had come to an end. He said in a caption under a picture with fellow season one and two coaches Khan Morbee and Karen Zoid: "I feel so privileged to have been part of The Voice for 2 seasons.... it's been one amazing journey and want to thank each and everyone who was with me through this journey... I'm gonna miss it very much."
