Roger Federer's face will soon be on a coin in his honour

The legendary tennis player Roger Federer will soon be seen on a silver coin.
Roger Federer (38) fans can now have the Swiss legend with them at all times.
Swissmint has created a 20-franc silver coin bearing Federer's image. It's the first time in its history that Swissmint has created a coin to honour a living person.

More coins will have Federer's face next year. In May 2020, Swissmint plans to issue a Federer 50-franc gold coin featuring a different design.
The King Of Clay Rafael Nadal and The King Of Grass Roger Federer will be in South Africa in 2020 to play a charity match!
The Swiss star has a strong bond with South Africa, as his mother Lynette Federer was born in Johannesburg.
John Laffnie-de Jager, former South African tennis player and coach, shared the exciting news with Martin Bester.
"It's going to be early in February," Laffnie-de Jager said. "I've been working on this for the last four years. It's two icons in the tennis world. We're hoping to get thousands of people and hopefully break the attendance record of 35,000 fans."
