Russian fast-food restaurant in hot water over advert
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
The World Cup in Russia has caused many upsets on and
off the field.

The Russian Burger King has express regret after offering women a reward of 3m roubles (R642 612.19) and free burgers for life if they got pregnant with a World Cup playerβs baby.
The advertisement sounds completely bizarre but it turns out to be true! The advert said: "Women who manage to get the best football genes will promote the Russian team's success for generations to come."

And this Burger King ad would require many approvals at many levels. Says so much about how Russian society views women. These are marketers whose jobs it is to profile the demographic theyβre targeting with the #advertising. Would be curious to know which agency created the ad.
