The song was written by Future Radio frontman Johnny Late and blends South African musical elements.
It features the Zulu phrase "Asiphakame" (Let’s get up), which echoes the song’s overall message.

"We wanted to craft a song that speaks to the heart and inspires action. Bullying impacts so many, especially children, and this song is about finding strength and standing up," explains Johnny.
'Rise Again' is part of a larger anti-bullying initiative called RISE, a groundbreaking theatrical fusion designed by Future Radio to engage schools and venues throughout South Africa.
The production blends rock music, animation, and acting, creating an immersive environment that engages learners in a unique and impactful way.

RISE seeks to not only raise awareness but also inspire real change by encouraging learners to stand up against bullying and support one another.
Future Radio plans to continue using their music to address important social issues and create meaningful connections with audiences.
"I aim to work on more collaborative projects that blend various musical styles and support causes close to my heart, such as anti-bullying and mental health awareness," says Johnny.
