Saray Khumalo, the first black South African woman to summit Everest, chats to Martin Bester

A few weeks ago, Saray Khumalo made headlines for all the right reasons!
We all have a bucket list - but is climbing Mount Everest on your list? Well, for Saray Khumalo, it was!
It is fourth time lucky for Khumalo, whose three previous attempts failed due to external factors.

Khumalo became the first black South African woman to summit Mount Everest.
Martin Bester was so impressed with Khumalo that he had to invite her to the studio!
"My achievement gives hope to people everywhere, it doesn't matter where you come from or what you look like," Khumalo said.
Khumalo also said that sometimes it was easy, and sometimes it was tough, but her positive mindset got her to the top.
