‘Schweet!’ This is how much sugar is in your favourite chocolate bar

In March 2021, Breakfast with Martin Bester reported on a list of breakfast cereals containing high amounts of sugar.
BusinessTech looked at 50 cereals that are available in South Africa to see exactly how much sugar is contained in each serving to help families make the right breakfast decisions.

Bokomo’s Creme Soda Otees remains the cereal with the highest sugar content, with 38.6 grams of sugar per 100 grams of cereal.
So now the question is, how much sugar does your favourite chocolate bar contain?
According to BusinessTech, South Africa’s chocolate confectionery market is a multi-billion Rand industry, recording R7.84-billion in sales in 2020 – an increase of 6.30% over 2019.

2. PS Caramilk
3. 5Star
4. Crunchie
5. Snickers
