South Africa's cheapest electric car, Eleksa CityBug, is officially for sale!

The cheapest electric car, Eleksa CityBug, has launched in South Africa - and you can now buy it for R230,000.
The Eleksa CityBug is a small EV measuring 2,960mm long, 1,480mm wide, and 1,520mm tall, and weighing approximately 450kg.

The small EV is classified as an ideal city or town runabout.
According to reports, the CityBug is already on sale in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Uruguay under various names, and can now be bought in South Africa directly from Eleksa.
