President Ramaphosa said: “I had my iPad. I had it in my hand. It's gone. I've lost it. It seems. Should I sit down. Okay."

It soon turned into a social media frenzy, as the moment happened on live television and South Africans were not buying it!

Social media users usually poke fun at situations like these, but one Twitter user was not amused and said: “The same way he panicked over a mere iPad, can we have the same panic over the deaths of people. For the high levels of youth unemployment…”

South African star actress Thuso Mdebu also joined the 'search' from America!
