The Cape Town native took to Britain’s Got Talent stage and impressed Simon Cowell and the other judges - watch her performance below.
Whitney Houston was one of the most loved singers in the world and will be remembered for her amazing vocals and outstanding stage presence.
One woman who has done a phenomenal job at capturing Whitney's powerful presence is South African artist, Belinda Davids. Davids has toured the world with her talent. For her Britain’s Got Talent audition, the Cape Town singer channelled her inner Whitney Houston and sang her hit, ‘One Moment In Time’
Davids, whose performance was the final stop of the BGT audition tour, held back some nerves before taking to the stage but that didn’t stop the singer from bringing the house down with her powerful rendition.
“I’m a singer and I do Whitney Houston songs. I am competing to further my music career.” Davids said on the show.
“Well those are tough shoes to fill,” admitted judge Simon Cowell, before Davids sang her heart out.
