After her absence at this weekend's match between the Springboks and Ireland in Durban, Mama Joy had something to say.

In a series of posts on X, the sports fanatic said the Springboks' 25-24 loss against Ireland was due to her absence from the match.

According to the superfan, she fasted and prayed for the South African national team during their first test match against Ireland last weekend, which led to them winning 27-20.

But during the most recent game, she just "ate pap and vleis" while watching the game from the comfort of her home, which she said led to the Springboks' loss.

She added that if she were to be present at the next game, the Springboks would surely win.

Mama Joy Chauke's remarks did not sit too well with many South Africans as comments streamed in online.
