Paulin made his trip to Mont Saint-Michel along a wire suspended between a crane and the famous abbey on the tidal island.
Mont-Saint-Michel is a tidal island and mainland commune in Normandy, France.
Although Paulin let himself off the rope only meters from the finish, he still managed to reach the mark and complete the record distance.
