International TikTok sensation Nara Smith has dropped a video in which she makes the South African staple, pap.

TikToker Nara Smith has taken social media by storm with her extravagant cooking videos and equally extravagant garments on the video-sharing platform.
Her dishes have become increasingly interesting as her fan base has grown – so much so that she has even made her own bubble gum, Coca-Cola, and DIY sunscreen.
The model and internet personality has also captured the hearts of many South Africans, as she has roots in the country.

"Growing up, my mom would make one South African dish over and over again," she says at the start of the video.
"[This] would be pap with tomato chutney and some kind of dark leafy vegetable."
Smith shared that she had been missing her mom and craving her cooking, so she decided to make this authentic South African meal.

While making the pap, Smith added a disclaimer, saying that everyone has their own way of making it, but this was her personal method.
Despite her glamorous façade, the model even ate the pap in true South African style – with her hands.
