Toddler saved from burning building amidst looting in South Africa

The continued protests and looting has resulted in roads being blocked between Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
According to Jacaranda FM News, the N3 from KwaZulu-Natal to Gauteng route is closed for "safety and security" reasons.
On Tuesday morning, the National Joint Operational and Intelligence Structure (NatJOINTS) said a total of 489 people have been arrested, in KwaZulu-Natal (166) and Gauteng (323).

A shocking video was posted on Twitter by Nomsa Maseko. According to the tweet, a mob of looters started a fire after looting the shops on the ground floor of the building. The building was consequently set on fire, resulting in the residents in the flats above needing to evacuate.
In the video, one can see an adult emerging from the smoke with a toddler on the first floor and having to throw her to safety below.
