Breakfast with Martin Bester set out to compile its list of the best songs of 2024 using two very simple metrics:
- The most played songs on the Jacaranda FM playlist
- Votes from our audience
Using these metrics, we compiled a definitive list of the Top 20 Songs of 2024.
Some of these songs may have bee released in late 2023 and only gained popularity in 2024, while others have dominated the charts for years.
There are also tracks released late in 2024 that have managed to climb the ranks quickly, thanks to audience votes.
