Travel agents advise on holiday plans for December 2020

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that under Level Two of the COVID-19 lockdown, inter-provincial travel could resume and that hotels will be allowed to accommodate leisure travelers.

However, the Department of Health in Gauteng is gearing up for the first month-end weekend since the unbanning of the sale of alcohol.

The unbanning of alcohol and the predicted increase in COVID-19 cases at the end of November is expected to add more pressure on the health system.
