Tshwane Mayor Stevens Mokgalapa joins Breakfast to discuss the Centurion Lake

Newly-appointed Tshwane Mayor Stevens Mokgalapa joined the team to share more about what he has planned for the city - listen to the interview.
Mokgalapa was elected mayor after the previous incumbent, Solly Msimanga, resigned to focus on his candidature for Gauteng Premier ahead of the elections in May.
Mayor Mokgalapa joined Breakfast with Martin Bester to discussed the issue behind the problematic Centurion Lake.

Mokgalapa said that he is quite concerned about the state of the lake, which has been a bone of contention for years. He also admitted that he does not know why it has taken so long to fix.
Mokgalapa mentioned that R30-million has been budgeted to fix the lake.
Martin opened the telephone lines for listeners to help the mayor with suggestions on how to convert the lake into something useful and safe.
