Two areas wealthy South Africans are moving to in Gauteng
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
Wealthy South Africans are increasingly moving to estates in two specific areas in Gauteng.
Wealthy South Africans are always on the lookout for areas that offer security, luxury, and access to high-end amenities.
According to BusinessTech, most wealthy homebuyers are finding these features in estates located in Pretoria East and Centurion.
Property experts from Seeff Properties have reported a significant rise in luxury lifestyle estates in these two areas.

This trend has turned Pretoria East and Centurion into hotspots for affluent individuals looking to buy property and settle down.
Gerhard van der Linde, Managing Director of Seeff Pretoria East, stated that some estates in Pretoria East have seen property prices ranging from R5 million to R18 million.
Despite nearly half of South Africa's population living below the poverty line, there are still many who can afford high-value estate properties.
This is largely due to the country's high levels of income and wealth inequality.
For those who can afford luxury properties, the appeal lies in the sense of security, community, access to recreational facilities, open spaces, and proximity to top-performing schools – features commonly found in estates in Pretoria East and Centurion.
