Viral mansion on sale doesn't belong to Connie Ferguson

Reports of a R50 million mansion being sold in Poortview, Roodepoort, claimed that the property belongs to South African actress Connie Ferguson.

Recent online reports alleged that actress, producer, and entrepreneur Connie Ferguson is selling her R50 million mansion in Poortview, Roodepoort.
After the exquisite mansion went viral on social media, 'Breakfast with Martin Bester' was informed that these online claims were false.
The R50 million mansion is indeed on the market, but it does not belong to Ferguson.

'Breakfast with Martin Bester' spoke to a source within the family, who confirmed that the luxurious property belongs to their family.
"All I can say is that I can confirm that the house does not belong to Connie Ferguson," said the source.
Due to concerns over their safety, the family requested to remain anonymous.

Anouschka Lubbe, the listing agent for the property, confirmed that the two properties are in the same area and share a few similarities, but the one she is listing is not Ferguson's house.
Pictures of both properties were used online, making it seem as though it was Ferguson's property.
The listing on Property24 shows that the mansion is listed as POA (Price on Application), meaning the price will only be revealed through direct enquiry.
Jaw-dropping pictures of the exquisite mansion were shared on the Property24 listing, and the price suddenly makes a lot more sense.

The Poortview property boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, 11 garages, 13 shaded parking bays, a private shooting range, a home cinema, two swimming pools, and even a two-storey-high super tube slide.
It also includes an executive study/library and an elevator for seamless access between floors.
For those trying times during power outages and water restrictions, the house also has full solar and generator systems, along with water tanks that hold a combined 15,000 litres.
Other unique features include: two swimming pools, a heated indoor pool, a koi dam, a greenhouse, a boma, a doggy hotel, and a car wash.
