South African MMA star Dricus 'Stillknocks' du Plessis is the new UFC middleweight champion after beating Sean Strickland over the weekend.
"Nou weet hulle wat ons weet," said Dricus 'Stillknocks' du Plessis after he made history by winning the UFC Middleweight championship against Sean Strickland at UFC 297.

The much-anticipated fight took place at the Scotiabank Arena in Ontario, Canada, on Sunday morning.
To celebrate this amazing achievement Martin Bester along with TikTokker Peer Papsak wrote a song for Du Plessis called 'Dricus Se Song'.

According to Jacaranda FM News, Du Plessis won by a split decision, 48-47, with two in the South African's favour.
Du Plessis is unbeaten in the UFC since his series debut in October 2020, racking up six successive wins to become the top contender in the division.
