Samson Maombi has made waves in the country music scene with his unique approach to the genre.
The Kenyan gospel singer has taken the internet by storm with his Kiswahili country music song, 'Nitauimba Wimbo'.
Maombi's viral song fuses traditional country music with Kiswahili gospel elements, focusing on themes like love, faith, and life's journey.

During an interview on KBC, the musician revealed that he is from Minyere, in Kuria East, Migori County.

Maombi further explained that he ventured into gospel country music because of his faith and his aim to reach people worldwide.
'Nitauimba Wimbo' celebrates the power of music to inspire hope, bring freedom, and convey the message that Jesus represents liberty.
The artist shared that he has performed at local funerals and church events within and beyond the Kisii region.
Despite his efforts, none of his previous songs have achieved the level of recognition as his latest release, 'Nitauimba Wimbo'.
This gospel track has been widely shared on social media platforms, particularly TikTok, gaining attention from both Kenyans and international audiences.
