WATCH: Leopard jumps onto open vehicle during game drive
What would you do if a leopard jumped into your vehicle?
Kruger National Park is renowned for offering visitors from all over the world the ultimate wildlife experience, but sometimes, they get a little more than they bargained for.
In a scary turn of events, guests came face-to-face with a full-grown leopard during a game drive in the Kruger.
The driver of a Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge game-viewing vehicle was faced with a dilemma when the leopard leapt onto the open vehicle, standing mere centimetres from the driver.

The tense moment was caught on camera, showing the male leopard on the bonnet of the vehicle while the guests and the driver remained surprisingly calm.
Both the guests and the driver could be seen taking images of the two-year-old leopard.
In the video footage, the person taking the video, who is presumably another guide, can be heard describing what he is seeing.

According to Caxton News Network, Hoyo Hoyo released a statement emphasising its commitment to responsible wildlife viewing.
The statement also indicated that the young leopard displayed "unusually inquisitive behaviour."

"The incident took place during a sighting while two cubs and their mother were feeding on an impala. The situation quickly escalated when the male cub moved towards the vehicle and unexpectedly jumped up. SANParks officials were immediately notified of the incident," read the statement.
"Our strict protocols are designed to protect both our guests and the wildlife we are privileged to observe, ensuring that all encounters happen in a safe and respectful manner. Guest safety, responsible wildlife viewing, and the respectful preservation of natural behaviour are at the heart of everything we do."
