South Africa's most well-known superfan, 'Mama Joy', had the country talking once again after she got engaged to her French boyfriend.

Chauke took to X to announce her engagement to Nicolas Pitaud, also known as 'Papa Joy'.

"Papa Joy asked something. I said yes. Watch the space," Chauke said on social media when she announced her engagement on Sunday.

According to TimesLive, the couple visited Cape Town over the weekend to watch the Springboks game against the All Blacks, where the national team won 18-12.

This was the Springboks' fourth consecutive win against their biggest rivals.

Hours after the game, 'Mama Joy' and 'Papa Joy' got engaged at the Cape of Good Hope, the most south-west point of the African continent.

"Love is beautiful. We seal it with a kiss — I mean a ring," she said.

Earlier this year, the couple also took their relationship to the next level when the Limpopo-born superfan met her "mother-in-law" for the first time.

Chauke took to social media to share a video of the meeting.

"Meeting my Mother in law ,,, look at how happy she is ,,, My Papa joys Mom over the moon ,,, Lucky Mamajoy," she wrote with the heartwarming video.
