Jacaranda FM's own Martin Bester released his first English single, 'Forever Summer', on Friday, 11 October.
Radio and media personality Martin Bester is getting the party started with a brand new English track that is bound to become one of the biggest songs of the summer of 2024.

'Forever Summer' is an upbeat pop song with soulful lyrics that sketches picturesque memories of summers gone by and reminisces about the beach, good times, people, and parties.
"The song is about love found, and lost, in the summertime," says Martin, who co-wrote the song with musician Jethro Tait.

'Forever Summer' is inspired by Martin's own love of the ocean. Martin grew up in the lovely seaside town of Port Elizabeth.
"I love the sea and the beach. The song was inspired by my own nostalgia and memories of spending time at the beach."
'Forever Summer' captures the deep and profound feeling the ocean sets alive inside the artist.
"The ocean makes me feel happy, sad, sentimental, and melancholic."
'Forever Summer' is the perfect addition to party playlists of anyone who has memories of a beach holiday, meeting new friends, a summer romance or sitting and staring at the ocean longingly.
"It's a feel-good summer song that you'll even want to listen to in winter, says the singer-songwriter. I love it when my music makes you feel something, anything. Even better if you can relate to the story in any way."

Martin is also a part of the anti-bullying campaign song called, 'Rise Again', which will be released on 18 October. The song is recorded in collaboration with a great line-up of South African artists and has a powerful message of cancelling bullying in schools.
The footage for a simple yet heartfelt lyric video was captured by Martin on his mobile device and gives an authentic and raw account of the beaches and memorable spots around the coastline of his hometown of PE.
"It's a very simple, yet heartfelt and honest video."
Martin recently released two Afrikaans hit songs titled, 'Bietjie Asseblief' and 'Boerepop'. He is also a popular radio host on the Breakfast Show with Martin Bester on Jacaranda FM.
‘Forever Summer’ is available on all digital platforms on 11 October.
