WATCH: Runner crawls to the finish line after fracturing leg

A Japanese runner who crawled to the end of her relay race after fracturing her leg has everyone talking on social media, resulting in it going viral.
Nineteen-year-old Rei Iida was praised for her bravery and putting her team-mates first. She crawled on her knees as she tried to approach her team-mate.

Iida was participating in the Princess Ekiden race in Japan.
According to the Telegraph, the runner fractured her right leg during her 3,5km run of the 41km race and had to crawl for over 200 meters to reach her team-mate.
