A video of a male customer assaulting a female McDonald's worker has gone viral on social media.
A recent video showing a male customer at a McDonald's intimidating and seemingly assaulting a female worker has shaken South Africans to their core.
The incident allegedly took place at a McDonald's in Kenilworth, Cape Town.

The viral clip has already gained more than a million views and thousands of comments expressing shock and anger over the incident.
In footage shared by Facebook user Rybrox, a white male customer is seen towering over a female McDonald's worker behind the payment counter in the kitchen area.

During the ordeal, the employee can be heard telling the man to wait for his food, but he reacts by aggressively pushing her, claiming he had "waited two hours for his food".
The worker, holding a plastic object, didn't back down and shouted at the man to stop.
"Don't you dare push me," she said. "Who do you think you are to hit a woman?"
As the man continues his assault, she tries pushing him back and eventually disappears from the camera's view.

The man continues hurling insults, calling her a "piece of s***".
Moments later, a group of men step in to try to defuse the situation, and the video cuts off.
It goes without saying that social media users were not happy, expressing their anger and frustration in the comment section.
