This is what the UK’s first “socially distanced music event” looks like

Are you longing for a live music experience? This sure is better than nothing, right?
Amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, many people stayed home to keep safe and prevent the spread of the virus.
However, on the 11th August around 2500 British music fans got to experience a live show.
It was named as the first socially distanced music event in Britain since the COVID-19 pandemic struck.

The live show was held in Gosforth Park in Newcastle with 500 metal platforms which could accommodate 5 people, each spaced two meters apart.
Each platform had a table, chairs and a fridge.
Wondering what it would cost to attend a concert like this? Tickets for an upcoming Two Door Cinema Club show on August 15 are £37.50 (R774,20) per person, with an additional £20 charge per party to reserve the platform.
