WhatsApp introduces amazing new 'Lists' feature
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
WhatsApp has just added a brand-new way to organise your chats…
Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp is the most widely used app in South Africa, with millions of people using it daily to communicate.
Over the years, WhatsApp has released many updates, making communication even more efficient and forever changing how people communicate.

The instant messaging giant recently released a brand-new update that will make using the app even easier.
The release of the 'Lists' feature will help users categorise chats into specific categories, making them easier to find.
How it works:
Users can navigate to the top of the app alongside the "All", "Unread", and "Groups" filters, which were released earlier this year.
By tapping the "+", users can create a list and organise specific chats and groups into that list.
After tapping the "+", users will have to create a name for the list and then add the group chats or one-on-one conversations they wish to add to it.
For example, if you wanted to consolidate all your work groups and colleagues into one filter, you could create a "Work" filter.
If you have multiple lists, you will be able to scroll horizontally on the filter bar to find them.

'Lists' were rolled out at the end of October and will be available to users in the next coming weeks.
"We look forward to expanding the functionality of Lists to help you focus on the people and conversations that matter most," said WhatsApp.
