When should you invite your partner over for Christmas?

On Monday, December 12, the Breakfast with Martin Bester team discussed how long you and your partner have to wait before inviting each other to a family Christmas.
With the holiday season upon us, it's time for families to come together and celebrate.
For those in new relationships, it's difficult to choose whether to introduce your new partner to your family over the holiday season.

The biggest question is: How long should one wait before bringing your partner to the family Christmas?
Some of the Breakfast with Martin Bester listeners agreed that one should wait a while before taking a partner to Christmas celebrations, while others thought it depended on each individual's relationship.

According to one listener, Tammy de Bruyn, she waited seven years before inviting her partner to Christmas.
"We waited seven years to get married. Now that we are married you are more than welcome to come to Christmas, but before that, 'no'".
