Where to spot every speed camera in Joburg
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
Here's a friendly warning of all the speed cameras you should look out for.
No matter how frustrating they could be, speed cameras are placed across different roads in the country to try and ensure safety on roads.
Knowing where these speed cameras are located is in the best interests of all motorists, as it would likely force drivers to keep to the speed limit.

The Speed Camera Data Base (SCBD) is a website that catalogues the location and speed requirements for every speed camera in more than 111 countries around the world.
According to their database, at least 52 major roads in Johannesburg have one or more fixed cameras placed along the road.
TopAuto recently analysed this database to give motorists a thorough breakdown of all the fixed cameras in Johannesburg and its suburbs.
Below is the full list compiled by TopAuto.

Most of the cameras on the list are designated to monitor motorists’ speed on these roads; however, they are placed at traffic stops to record when someone goes through a red light.
The list also includes roads with multiple cameras on them.
