Wife beater Jaco Swart's alleged hiding place revealed

Jaco Swart went into hiding after video footage exposed him physically assaulting his wife.
Wife beater Jaco Swart allegedly works as a mechanic in Windsor, England, about 40 kilometres from London, after he supposedly used a fake passport to get into the country.
According to Rapport, a private investigation from AfriForum found that Swart is apparently working without a work permit while in England.

A new media statement posted on social media showed a new Private Prosecution Unit summons against Jaco Swart in new GBV case.

Swart, who was convicted for assaulting his wife Nicoleen Swart, fled after he was assaulted by a group of men last year.
In June 2023, a video of Jaco Swart assaulting his wife at their family business went viral.
Swart was seen brutalising, pushing, punching, and kicking his estranged wife, Nicoleen Swart, in the 2018 video.

The video resurfaced after AfriForum's private prosecution unit released CCTV footage of the vicious attacks.
The accused, Jaco Swart, pleaded guilty to charges of assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm (GBH).
South Africans were outraged after he was sentenced to a R20,000 fine and a three-year prison sentence, suspended for five years, in the Pretoria North Magistrate's Court on 7 June 2023.
