After spending almost five hours in the coffin, she was discovered to be alive, gasping for air.
Her friends and family made the startling discovery after they heard knocking on her coffin and opened it up.
She was immediately rushed back to the same hospital that declared her dead for treatment.
According to BBC News, she spent seven days in intensive care before she died from an ischemic stroke.

While speaking to a local newspaper, her son, Gilbert Barbera, said: "This time, my mother really did die. My life will not be the same."
Reports show that Barbera's mother had a condition called catalepsy, “where a person experiences seizure, loss of consciousness, and the body becomes rigid”.
Experts have been assembled to assess the case of Ms Montoya.
