You can now rent a parking bay for up to R1 500 per month

Cape Town just cannot stay out of the news. Earlier this month, a parking bay was for sale for R1,25 million. 

Over the weekend, motorists in Cape Town spotted cut-out boards of traffic officers next to the roads to create a way for motorists to slow down.

You can now rent a parking bay for a month for up to R1,500!

According to Business Insider, 'Rent My Bay' was launched in March, after a resident spotted an opportunity from his 13th-floor apartment in the CBD, with its notorious parking problems, in 2017.
