This morning on Breakfast with Martin Bester, as South Africa celebrates the 100th anniversary of Nelson Mandela's birth, Ndaba Mandela reflected on what his grandfather means to him.
'Going to the Mountain: Lessons from my Grandfather, Nelson Mandela' by Ndaba Mandela will be published in July to celebrate his grandfather’s birthday.
Ndaba Mandela told Martin Bester: "I’m telling the story of how he treated everyone. Growing up as a young man I experienced it… Therefore you have to treat everyone with respect."

Going to the Mountain is the story of Ndaba Mandela’s unforgettable time living with and learning from one of the greatest leaders and humanitarians the world has ever known. Ndaba said: "I talk about the challenges young men face in the world."
Martin Bester asked Ndaba if he is going into politics. Ndaba responded with: "I don't have a choice. It's an obligation, it is a responsibility."
