Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts will officiate the ceremony.

The new president is also set to deliver a speech outlining his plans for the next four years. In contrast, Trump's 2017 inauguration speech was notably sombre.

At the time NPR, and other sources, reported that securing performers for the event proved to be a challenge.

Fast forward eight years, and things appear to have changed significantly, with a star-studded lineup set to take the stage for this inauguration.

Here are the musical acts set to perform at Donald Trump's Presidential Inauguration:

Lee Greenwood

Greenwood is an award-winning country singer-songwriter.

He is best known for writing the patriotic anthem 'God Bless The USA'. Beyoncé even recorded a version in 2011 with all proceeds going to the 9/11 firefighters fund in NYC.

The song inspired 'The God Bless The USA Bible', which Donald Trump endorsed. The Bible is the King James Version (KJV) and includes the Pledge of Allegiance, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence.

He will perform at the swearing-in ceremony and the Make America Great Again Victory Rally.

Carrie Underwood

Underwood faced major backlash after officials announced that she would perform 'America Is Beautiful' during the swearing-in ceremony.

She responded by releasing a statement:

Kid Rock

The country and rock artist has been a long-time supporter of Trump, so his performance comes as no surprise.

He'll also perform at the Make America Great Again Victory Rally.

The Village People

The band known for its iconic hit song, 'YMCA', only has one surviving original member, Victor Willis.

He's set to perform at two events, the Make America Great Again Victory Rally and the Liberty Ball.

Billy Ray Cyrus

Unlike his famous daughter, Miley Cyrus, the country music star has openly supported Trump throughout the presidential campaign.

He will perform at the Make America Great Again Victory Rally.

Jason Aldean

Another country music star is set to take the stage. Aldean, who previously introduced Trump at a campaign rally in Georgia, will perform at the Liberty Ball.

Rascal Flatts

The country music trio will take to the stage at the Commander in Chief Ball.

Christopher Macchio

The classical tenor will sing the national anthem during the swearing-in ceremony.

Nelly

The St. Louis rapper will perform at the Liberty Ball.

Parker McCollum

Another country singer-songwriter, who will perform at the Commander in Chief Ball.

Gavin DeGraw

And finally, DeGraw will perform at the Starlight Ball.
