You would think that in the year 2024, people would know how to treat others with kindness.

Or at least realise that any conversation they have can be screenshotted and shared across the internet.

One influencer recently felt the severe repercussions of her actions when she was called out for her actions.

Katherine Asplundh, formally Driscoll, is a newlywed who married the heir to a billion-dollar company.

To celebrate her marriage, she wanted to change her social media handles to fit her new name.

Katherine decided to reach out to a fellow Katherine who shares her new surname, but unfortunately went about it completely the wrong way.

Clearly the interaction didn't turn out as she had hoped, as the second Katherine Asplundh (the original owner of the Instagram handle of the same name) posted their conversation to Reddit.

The conversation was friendly at first but quickly took a very aggressive turn.

Since then, the newly-wed Katherine has deleted some of her social media profiles and content. She has yet to address the situation.

People who have now seen this post strongly feel that she was in the wrong here and that she did not handle the situation well at all.
