Blood moon total eclipse happening in March

The upcoming eclipse will transform the moon into a blood moon, casting a red glow across the night sky.

In March, spring begins to bloom in the northern hemisphere, while autumn sweeps through the south.

But this month isn't just about seasonal shifts – it also marks the arrival of eclipse season.

Stargazers have something spectacular to look forward to between the night of March 13 and the morning of March 14.

This total lunar eclipse will be visible across North America in mid-March, while parts of Europe and Africa will get a partial solar eclipse on March 29.

This celestial event occurs when the earth moves directly between the sun and the moon, casting a shadow that completely covers the lunar surface.

The darkest part of this shadow, known as the earth's umbra, gives the moon its red glow.
