In this digital age, many couples have decided to host 'unplugged' weddings where phones are not allowed at all.
You might also want your wedding day to be all about you, but that doesn't stop life from happening.
If possible, all guests should abide by the wedding rules.

One Reddit user recently shared a story where they wrote that they had been attending their best friend's wedding, which was one of these unplugged events.
During the reception, the poster noticed that their sister had been calling them repeatedly and assumed there must be some kind of emergency, so she answered the phone.

Another guest had seen the interaction and told the bride, who was furious at her best friend for breaking the rules. Although she tried to explain that her mother was involved in an accident, the bride was having none of it.
