Certain vape flavours could be worse for health, says study

All vapes are unhealthy, but some are worse.
Over the years, vaping has become somewhat more "fashionable" than smoking cigarettes.

It's even more convenient with many places allowing vaping inside.
While there is still much debate over which smoking method is more unhealthy, it's safe to say that neither is recommended.
Whether you are a vaper or not, it might be interesting to know that there is research that shows certain flavours are more harmful than others.

A group of researchers have conducted a study into vape flavours and by using a vaping robot, have discovered that one specific flavour is more dangerous than others.
The robot mimicked how humans use vapes and figured out the patterns in healthy breathing versus diseased breathing through puff volume and vaping duration.

The research has found that certain flavourings added to vaping liquids can have a major impact on your health.
They found that mint flavour is more toxic than others and irrespective of other variables such as age and race, those who smoke menthol flavours have worse lung function and shallower breathing.
Many people, especially youth, erroneously assume that vaping is safe, but even nicotine-free vaping mixtures contain many compounds that can potentially damage the lungs. It's safe to say that even when you think you are being as safe as possible, you probably aren't.
