Should you be working from a standing desk? Does it really increase your risk of dying early if you work at a desk for most of your day?

The science behind all of these things is becoming better and better daily, but that doesn't mean everyone can just buy a treadmill desk and walk while they work.

Before even considering the cost or other factors, it begins with convenience and practicality.

The funny thing is, most people are probably already consuming it this way.

In a study done by researchers from the Medical College of Soochow University in Suzhou, China, they looked at the data collected from 10,639 subjects.

They found that people who sit for more than eight hours a day have a 46% higher risk of all-cause mortality than those who sit for less than four hours.

It was also reported that non-coffee drinkers who sit for more than six hours a day are 58% more likely to die of all causes than coffee drinkers who sit for less than six hours a day.

The study also helped indicate the risks of sedentary behaviour and the benefits of coffee.

If you want to decrease your risks, you might just need to drink more coffee and sit less!

It's not quite that easy though as there is also a constant ongoing debate about the true health benefits of coffee, but if you are a coffee lover who enjoys less than 10 cups a day, you should be fine.
