When it hit television screens in 2004, the 'Desperate Housewives' series became one of the most watched and loved series.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and in 2012, fans had to say goodbye to Gabrielle Solis (played by Eva Longoria), Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher), Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman) and Bree Van de Kamp (Marcia Cross).

Over eight seasons, these not-so-ordinary housewives entertained viewers with their scandals and secrets.

Since then, there has not been much talk about a reboot, a spin-off series or even a reunion.

Fans have been asking for any indication that there might be something in the pipeline, and finally, there is an answer.

Although it is still quite cryptic, this is the most promising update yet.

In June 2023, Eva Longoria did mention her interest in a renewal:

However, fans were once again disappointed when no further news about any 'Desperate Housewives' related series was shared.
