Actress Kim Engelbrecht is one of Cape Town's most successful talents.

Ever since leaving the Deep for new horizons, she has had the opportunity to make her mark in local and international TV and film.
After firmly establishing herself in the entertainment industry in SA, she has had multiple opportunities to work alongside international talents such as Alan Rickman, Helen Mirren, and, most recently, Iain Glen of 'Game of Thrones' fame.
While Kim is a multi-award-winning actress, her latest project, 'Reyka', has seen her stardom reach new heights.

The show follows a criminal profiler on the hunt for a serial killer in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
Her performance landed her an International Emmy Award nod for Best Actress.
Rob Forbes and Rozanne McKenzie had the opportunity to sit down with Kim and discuss 'Reyka', what attending the Emmys is like, and her #NoPantsThursday movement.

After the tremendous success of season one, which received two International Emmy Award nominations and won four South African Film and Television Awards, M-Net’s acclaimed local series 'Reyka' is returning for its second season.
Season one also introduced us to Gerald Steyn as Detective Nick Tanner, Anna-Mart van der Merwe as Elsa Meyer, and Nokuthula Mavuso as Portia Maseko.
'Reyka 2' is an international co-production brought to you by M-Net and Freemantle.
The primetime crime drama is back for season 2 on Thursday, 11 January 2024 at 20:00 and viewers are in for a thrilling new chapter filled with intrigue, danger, and uncharted waters.
