One of the many things one might do to get into the festive spirit is to watch Christmas movies.

Whether you enjoy classic films such as 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas' or some Hallmark production where the plot is so predictable, there is something for everyone.
There never seems to be enough time to watch all the festive favourites, and watching a Xmas movie in the middle of the year can feel quite weird.

CableTV.com has partnered with DIRECTV to host its third annual "holiday dream job event".
You only have to apply, and after reviewing all applications, CableTV.com will select one lucky person for the role of "Chief of Cheer".
The person's job is to watch 25 holiday movies of their choice within 25 days. They will be provided with the movies through streaming subscriptions.

At the end of this almost month-long marathon, the "Chief of Cheer" has to review each movie and streaming service.
The person chosen for the job also receives $2,500 (R45,000), a Minky Couture blanket, and a year's worth of ad-free streaming from DIRECTV STREAM, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video, Max, Apple TV+, and Hallmark+.
