Users have been complaining about some of the changes after the latest iOS software update.
Apple has released its latest software update, iOS 18.1.1, going into the end of 2024.

The update has many new positive features, which include important security fixes and some cosmetic changes.
You can now access a currency converter in the calculator app and use the back button to delete mistakes while adding up, and Apple users have more tools to customise their homepage.

While it may seem like there's a lot to like in this update, users' predominant feeling is annoyance.
Social media has been buzzing with complaints from iPhone users worldwide, with many saying this is their most disastrous update.

Most of the issues come from the Photos app and the size of emojis.
For some unexplained reason, the emojis on the keyboard have seemed to double in size:

As for the Photos app, users could previously toggle between different categories such as 'albums', 'search', and 'for you', but now it's all combined in the same part of the app.

Unfortunately, the emojis do not have a fix as easy as the photo problem.
According to various sources, the only way to fix this is to download a third-party keyboard to your phone and enable it in settings.
This is not ideal for people who avoid sharing their data with third-party apps, but it depends on what is bothering you more, large emojis or the data situation.
